The LAX Terminal 3 was opened in 1961 and renovated in 2014. Since November 2020, the terminal has been temporarily closed for reconstruction. It is expected to be open again in mid-2022. The pace in reconstruction was high due to less air travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Terminal 3 has CLEAR, Premium, and General Screening. These security screening areas are available at gates 31-39 from 04:15 AM to 01:00 AM.
