LAX offers multiple parking options, each with different rates. Here’s everything you need to know about LAX airport parking.
You can pre-book your LAX parking to guarantee your space. Reservations may be changed up to two hours before your flight. There are no reservation fees, but tax is included. A free shuttle can take you to the terminal so you can avoid travel delays.
Pre-booking allows you to save up to 60% on drive-up rates. Same-day bookings are available. Note that your reservation does not include costs for EV charging. The rate is $2.00 per session plus .45 per kWh.
You’ll get a full refund if you cancel your reservation more than two hours before your arrival. Refunds are sent to the credit card used.
Reservations may be changed two hours before your arrival, including changing dates, times, and LAX parking locations. Note that every day you overstay is charged your daily reservation rate.
To use the reservation QR code, use any available General Parking lanes to enter the garage. Scan your QR code on the ticket machine located at the entrance. If you experience difficulties scanning your QR code, press the “Help” button to request assistance.
If your phone is having trouble displaying the QR code, you may print it before parking. Press the “Help” button if you fail to print it before arrival. Changing vehicles or unknown license plates
If you’ve changed vehicles or you don’t know your license plate, you can update your vehicle information up to two hours before your arrival. Under “Manage Reservation”, edit your information in “Vehicle & Travel Details”.
The rates listed below may change. Always check the parking rates posted at the entrance before parking. Major credit cards like American Express, Visa, Discover, Union Pay, and Master Card are accepted.
The official LAX premium parking offers 7,000 parking stalls in eight parking structures parallel to passenger terminals. Open for overnight trips and extended stays. Random inspection is required for all vehicles.

Vertical Clearances

Due to height restrictions, parking for trailers, large trucks, campers, or RVs is unavailable in CTA Parking Structures. Consider parking at LAX Economy Parking instead.
If you lost an item in any CTA Parking Structures, submit a claim.
Distance from the terminal: 7 minute-drive Location: 6100 W. 94th Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90045 For cheap LAX parking, the LAX Economy parking offers 4,000 parking stalls and 30 active EV chargers. Available for overnight trips and extended stays.

Drive-up General Parking
Complimentary 24-hour shuttle services are available to and from the Central Terminal Area parking on the Arrivals section (pink LAX Shuttle zones) and the garage Level 1, southeast section.
Distance from the terminal: 3 to 5-minute walk LAX plans to offer around 500 EV chargers in Central Terminal Garages and LAX Economy Parking. Rates depend on access and usage (kWh). Read LAX’s EV charger guidelines for more information. The new LAX EV charging locations will be installed in the following locations:
$2 per session and 0.45 per kWh
Location: Northwest corner of 96th Street/Vicksburg Avenue
Motorists can wait in the LAX cellphone waiting lot for free for up to two hours until their passengers are ready to be picked up in the Central Terminal Area. Ride-service vehicles and commercial vehicles are not allowed in the cellphone waiting lot, and parked cars must be attended to at all times.
Shuttle services are no longer available in the LAX cell phone waiting lot. Go to LAX City Bus Center Bus Bays 11 and 12 for shuttle services.
Motorcycle riders can park for free in the Central Terminal Area, in corners, at the ends of rows, and in any space as long as it does not obstruct access to parked vehicles and handicapped areas. Motorcycles that park for more than 30 days will receive a parking ticket. Call Airport Police at 310-646-4268 if your car is impounded.
There are several free parking spaces for bikes in the Central Terminal Area:
Disabled parking is available (with regular posted fees) for vehicles with disabled license plates and disability placards in LAX Economy Parking and parking structures.
The Vendor Delivery Parking Permit allows oversized vehicles to use specific areas in LAX Central Terminal Area to make deliveries. Here are instructions on applying for a Vendor Parking Permit. You’ll need to fill up an application form and a vendor delivery parking list.
Parking requests may be obtained for special events hosted by LAWA for employees and their families, for participants of LAWA-sponsored events, and for organizers of special events that are not LAWA-sponsored. Distance from the terminal: An hour drive or more Public parking is available at the Van Nuys FlyAway Facility for FlyAway bus patrons. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about Van Nuys FlyAway Parking.
Monthly parking is available for LAX employees in three remote employee parking lots. Employees may apply via the ABM website. Each lot offers courtesy shuttle buses that depart every 7 - 15 minutes.

Lost parking tickets are charged $50 for vehicles parked for one day. Those parking for more than a day must pay daily parking fees and $50 for the lost ticket. To get a refund for a recovered parking ticket, mail the parking receipt to:
