How to connect to LAX Free Wi-Fi

LAX offers free Wi-Fi through the _LAX Free Wi-Fi network, and in its first-class and business class lounges. The _LAX Free Wi-Fi network is available in all terminals and baggage claim areas. Passengers do not need a password to gain access to the free Wi-Fi. While there is no data cap, usage is limited to 45 minutes each day. Passengers who use the LAX free Wi-Fi are shown a 15-30 second ad or video before their access begins.

  • From the Home screen, access your Wi-Fi settings
  • Turn on your Wi-Fi
  • In your connection options, select _LAX Free Wi-Fi

For a fee, LAX offers Boingo Wi-Fi connections for travelers needing a faster internet connection. Access to hotspots require a monthly Boingo subscription that costs $4.98 on your first month and $14.99 in succeeding months. T-Mobile customers will enjoy full access to Boingo hotspots in LAX for zero fees.
